Our Independent Judging Process
The Ghana Energy Awards upholds a rigorous and impartial judging process to determine the most deserving winners across all categories. Guided by an independent panel of esteemed international energy experts, the evaluation process draws from diverse expertise in regulation, governance, policy-making, corporate leadership, trading, and strategic consulting.Final outcomes are determined exclusively through the independent judgment, integrity, and professional expertise of the Awarding Panel, supported by a team of accredited technical experts.

Evaluation Process
A transparent, five-stage journey from nomination to recognition
Nomination Submission
Nominees are encouraged to submit comprehensive and category-specific information during the nomination period. Each entry should include measurable achievements, supporting documentation, and evidence of impact.
Shortlisting Review
Once the nominations window closes, the Awards Secretariat reviews all submissions for completeness and eligibility. Only nominations that meet the minimum criteria proceed to the panel evaluation stage.
Panel Evaluation
The Awarding Panel meticulously evaluates each submission against predefined benchmarks tailored to each award category. Each panellist independently scores nominations to ensure objectivity.
Independent Validation
To uphold the highest standards of transparency and accuracy, Forvis Mazars and the Casely Brooke Law Firm validate every step of the awarding process, ensuring full compliance with established protocols.
