Ghana's expanding renewable energy landscape has prompted the introduction of new award categories to recognise innovation in solar, wind, and sustainable energy solutions.

The growth of distributed solar installations, mini-grid developments, and clean cooking solutions across Ghana has created a vibrant ecosystem of companies and professionals deserving recognition.

New categories for the 10th Edition include awards for Clean Energy Innovation, Community Energy Access, and Sustainable Development Leadership.

According to the Energy Commission, Ghana's installed renewable energy capacity has grown by over 40% in the past five years, driven largely by private sector investment and supportive government policies. The new award categories reflect this momentum and aim to encourage further innovation in the space.
